Removable Prosthesis

TAKE BACK YOUR CONFIDENCE WITH A NATURAL-LOOKING SMILE!

Dentures are false teeth meant to replace your natural teeth and tissues. The following are two different types of removable prosthesis which may be used according to your need:
  • 1. Full/Complete Dentures
  • 2. Partial dentures

Dentures may also act as a temporary solution to replace missing teeth during fixed treatment options such as implants.

For the first few weeks or even months after the initial usage of dentures, they may still feel a bit awkward or uncomfortable. Eating and speaking with them takes practice! After all, the muscles of your tongue and cheek need to learn how to operate while holding your dentures in place. Minor irritation, soreness, excessive saliva flow, and the sensation that your tongue doesn’t have enough room are not uncommon. With consistent use and practice dentures replace the aesthetics and function well. However, if you experience irritation or have other concerns your doctor is always there to guide and help you.
